For the past three and a half years, Dr. Beardslee has practiced as an oncology pharmacy specialist at Emory Winship Cancer Institute focusing on aerodigestive solid tumors including lung cancer, head and neck cancer, thyroid cancer, esophageal cancer and thymus cancers. He also serves as an adjunct clinical instructor for Mercer University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Beardslee attained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Mercer University College of Pharmacy and completed a 2-year residency at Emory University Hospital specializing in oncology.

Upon completion of this program, participants should be better able to:

  1. Recognize the challenges of treating stage III NSCLC in the adjuvant setting
  2. Discuss appropriate strategies to recognize and effectively manage all aspects of immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy
