Your credit will automatically uploaded to CPE Monitor.

This activity will introduce participants to the concept of mind-body medicine and the positive effect it has on psychological wellbeing including the ability to reduce stress and burnout while increasing resilience. The benefits of mindful meditation will be discussed along with specific examples of how an individual can apply mind-body interventions into the routine of daily life.
Upon completion of this educational activity, participant should be better able to:
- Define what is meant by mind-body medicine
- Recognize how the physiological reaction to stress can lead to burnout and reduced resiliency
- Specify how mindful practices can reduce stress
- Identify mind-body medicine interventions that can be practiced to enhance self-care
