Goal To provide oncology, managed care and specialty pharmacists with advanced knowledge of how to optimally manage adult patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) receiving immune-oncology (I-O) therapy, such that they can identify and recommend appropriate patient-specific treatments that are cost-effective, develop optimal toxicity prevention and management, and to improve patient outcomes.
Educational Objectives Upon completion of this program, participants should be better able to:

Discuss the standard-of-care options for patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), including immune-oncology (I-O) therapies

Examine the emerging data for I-O and I-O combination regimens in the treatment of advanced NSCLC

Identify appropriate prognostic and predictive biomarkers in the treatment of advanced NSCLC with I-O alone or in combination regimens

Demonstrate pharmacist-driven strategies to recognize and prevent or manage toxicities associated I-O or I-O combination therapies throughout the continuum of care

Credits: 1.5 hour (0.15 ceu)
