This online course is a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program for their Medication Therapy Management Certificate Program. It is designed based on the domains, tasks, and knowledge statements developed by PTCB.
Available for $31.95, this MTM Certificate Program offers 12 T-designated Credit hours and has been specifically designed for the pharmacy technician. The use of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services is being endorsed by major health care organizations across the country. Pharmacy technicians play a critical role in supporting MTM services and this is an important step in the expanding role of the pharmacy technician.
Expert faculty consultants have focused on the current and future informational needs of pharmacy technicians to help them prepare for and support MTM services in any health care setting. In addition, a panel of practicing pharmacy technicians participated in a focus group, providing insight into what is most relevant to their jobs and where their greatest educational needs lie.
